Dark Dreams of Zhijiang was a project finished in a group for participate in the Juejin 2022 Programming Competition and won the first prize. This game is about bringing hope to the idols in the Chinese virtual idol group named A-Soul. This game needs two players to play on the same screen and help each other to reach the mirrors in the levels and bring the mirrors to reflect the light of hope.

Our dear idols of A-Soul fell into a deep sleep and never wake up again because of the pressure from work. You, as their loyal fans, who sweared that will protect them and make them happy forever, now has a mission to solve the knots in their dreams, use your love and talent, bring the sunshine to their dark dreams, and get to the deepest part of their dreams! Wake up, my darling!
The Design
The fans of A-Soul created a subculture that is very difficult for those who don't know A-Soul to understand, the design of this game is to share our memes and love to those who wants to understand our subculture. We want to represent the reasons that we love the girls, and share our joy to the public.
In this game , the players are fans that try to release the girls from their nightmares. The players need to solve different puzzles, guide the light of hope to the deepest part of their nightmares, and defeat the final boss.
